The Wayne Notes for this episode:
What: bribery, blackmail, cleaning, intimidation
Who: fixers
Why: usually money
How: by being mean or by being nice
Listen to the episode if you’d like to hear the unabridged version of our discussion on fixers, the people who make problems go away. Things left out of Wayne’s abridged version include our discussion of D&D 5e, Chris’s shaky grasp of how the legal system works, and the debate on what every fashionable fixer should wear.

We’re not bad; we’re just recorded that way.

In this installment of Creature Features, we continue to redefine what a “creature” is. We look at the mysterious, sexy and dangerous femme fatale and the lesser known homme letal (probably because we coined it).

Good evening, hepcats, greasers and squares. We got the skinny on playing hardboiled in La La Land in the early ’60s, a land of queens, dreams and inbetweens. Dig Lyal laying on some heavy RPG experiments. Dig Wayne going talk, talk, talk (over Lyal). Dig Chris offering some funky advice.

So, tune in and dig the baaaad vibe we lay down. It’ll be a gas. From the podcast that’s on the record, off the QT and never very hush-hush.

Correction: Elfenland is actually like the travelling salesman problem, not “dilemma”.

Special Note 1: The Ryan and Matt mentioned in the podcast are the forum’s very own Ryan and Matt.

Special Note 2: It’s not mentioned in the episode, but we used the World of Darkness system.

It’s only our second Creature Feature and we’re already pushing the premise to include occupations. We discuss criminal organizations and how to include them in your games.

Oddly, we don’t mention Scarface at all. While this means we don’t mine this rich source of ideas, you’re spared listening to our versions of “Say hello to my little friend.” Chris does do The Godfather 3 quote. Yeah, that one.

To law enforcement: This episode is not an endorsement of crime or an attempt to glamourize it.

To criminal organizations: We’re obviously not talking about you. Are we cool?
