Cubicle 7 has announced the 5th Edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, timed to coincide with the game’s 40th anniversary. While the settlement was intended to return consigned inventory to publishers like Green Ronin and Paizo, Sparkle Pop is disputing the deal, citing outstanding claims for warehouse rent and processing fees. This objection has stalled the resolution, leaving affected publishers waiting for the release of their long-held stock from the Mississippi warehouse.

Bloat Zines is currently crowdfunding for “Skullcrusher,” a grimdark fantasy RPG inspired by 90s-era D&D sessions and the New School Revival movement. Created by Eric Bloat, the game emphasizes accessibility through streamlined mechanics and is being released under a Creative Commons license that invites others to create official content. The Kickstarter campaign is currently live, offering both digital and print options, and the team is prioritizing a timely delivery by avoiding stretch goals.
