Corvus Belli, the Spanish miniature wargame publisher, is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026, marking a significant milestone in the industry. Founded in 2001 by three friends, the company began with 15mm scale historical miniatures before launching the 28mm scale ‘Warcrow’ fantasy models in 2002. Their breakthrough came with the 2005 release of the sci-fi skirmish wargame Infinity, which evolved from a modified Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Infinity is notable for its unique rules, including an “active” and “reactive” turn system that keeps both players engaged, a flexible order system, and the use of D20s instead of D6s. The game has since grown through several editions, expansions, and community support like the official Infinity Army web application. Corvus Belli also launched the Infinity Tournament System in 2010 to support competitive play and has continuously pushed the metaplot forward, including the recent Endsong expansion and the new Next Wave faction released in 2025. The company’s expansion has included collaborations like the Infinity tabletop RPG with Modiphius in 2015 and major board games such as Aristeia (2017), Infinity Defiance (2019), and TAG Raid (2021).

Atlas Games co-owner John Nephew announced he is removing all of their products from Amazon’s Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) program due to what he describes as “lousy business partner” practices, including bait and switch promotions and inexplicable storage/shipping fees. To minimize waste and ensure the inventory goes to gamers instead of being destroyed, he is offering to send individual FBA items—including board games, card games like Gloom, the Over the Edge RPG, and accessories—for free to any gamer in the USA. Interested parties can email him their mailing address by the end of January 2026.

The Dungeons & Dragons crossover with Fortnite, which has resulted in a new series of five fan-made, D&D-themed islands created by community creators Chartis and Teravision Games. These islands range from a PvP arena and co-op boss fight to the largest co-op roguelike in Fortnite history, featuring D&D locations like the Yawning Portal and legendary characters like Klauth the dragon. The article writer expresses skepticism about the marketing value of the crossover, questioning its appeal to non-D&D fans and suggesting the focus should be on this year’s actual D&D rulebook release schedule instead of guest appearances in video games.

Lex Ecclesiastica, a free, unofficial Warhammer 40k narrative TTRPG that centers on the all-female Adepta Sororitas, or Sisters of Battle. The game uses the Resistance Toolbox system, which is “built around struggle,” with players juggling core stats like Body, Faith, Authority, Fortune, and Corruption. The game is praised for giving depth to the Sisters of Battle faction, blending the over-the-top violence of the 40k setting with the somber storytelling required for these dogmatic warriors, and it is available for free download on itch.io. The document also mentions a Humble RPG Bundle: So You Wanna Try Out Call of Cthulhu, which offers over 25 books and game aids for the seminal RPG, with proceeds supporting the World Wildlife Fund.

One More Multiverse is a new VTT that uses a pixel art style for its assets. They will be releasing a Blades in the Dark module that will include every asset, character and location from the core rulebook. That means players and gamemasters will have access to the entire Doskvol setting for only $29.99. Seems like a good deal and a novel approach, but does it move tabletop roleplaying too close to PC gaming?

Twilight Inscription is a new roll and write game from Fantasy Flight Games. It is set in the same universe as their Ameritrash monster Twilight Imperium. This may be a better option for getting new players into a game that doesn’t take a long time to set up and an eternity to play. Is this just Twilight Imperium without the plastic pieces? Does it offer a different experience or just a modified version of the original boardgame?

As part of the current Kickstarter for the Elric: Rise of the Young Kingdoms boardgame, Le Département is offering a PDF version of the Official Elric RPG, Mournblade translated into English as an add-on. This RPG has previously has only been available in French and will be heading to retail in English for the first time after the Kickstarter is fulfilled. This makes us very curious and is giving us a reason to take a second look at the Kickstarter.

Corvus Belli will soon be Kickstarting their Warcrow Adventures, a tile-crawling boardgame. This is the first step in their release of an alternative setting to the scifi, anime-inspired world of Infinity. The setting will be fantasy, but not a Tolkein-inspired world but something closer to the Wild West meets the Age of Exploration. Warcrow will be released as a miniatures skirmish game later next year. This game is giving us a taste of the world and what to look forward to as far as factions in the new fantasy game. Their version of an undead faction and dark elves already has us very interested!

Corvus Belli has announced Warcrow, a new fantasy setting and miniatures game. The showed off a teaser trailer that was more of a logo reveal and a timeline for releases. The first release will be a dungeon crawling game in the Warcrow setting followed next year by the full miniatures wargame. Stockholm Kartell, creators of Mork Borg, revealed a new game available for preorder.

Death In Space is a rules-lite dark adventure game of scavenging and surviving in the dark void of space with your only home being your spaceships and your only family is your crew. It is available for pre-order now which gets you the PDF version right away. The release date is April 26th.

Cortex Prime has posted a redux on their license for community generated content and mods. This was followed by an FAQ from Fandom Tabletop community manager Mellie Doucette. The new 2.0 license makes a distinction between commercial and non- commercial licenses. Anything made under the non-commercial license must be available for free, this 2.0 version carves out exceptions for tip jars and pay-what-you-want options, both features that are part of the most popular community platforms.

TSR3 is selling leatherbound volumes of the original Dungeons and Dragons 1E books. They will cost you $650 each and feature gold ink on the cover and the classic wizard head logo which they have no right to use. With the pending litagation from Wizards of the Coast, it is odd they see this as good move.
