A classic roleplaying game returns. The new retro-apocalypotic edition of Twilight: 2000, published in partnership with Game Designers’ Workshop, goes back to the roots of the franchise with a boxed set for sandbox roleplaying in the devastation of World War III. The new edition will be the fourth in the series, the first being released by GDW in 1984. Just like the original version, the new edition is set in a year 2000 devastated by war – now in an alternate timeline where the Moscow Coup of 1991 succeeded and the Soviet Union never collapsed.

Listen to PUTRESCENCE REGNANT on Spotify:
https://open.spotify.com/artist/4WzHwkoLZA6krW0guDiPpF?si=RecGzuI9THWlMkdTw8ckgg

MÖRK BORG is a blackened artpunk doomsday rpg about miserable bastards and heretics enduring a bleak, dying world. It’s a doom metal album of a game. A spiked flail to the face. Rules light, heavy everything else. It’s made by Pelle Nilsson of Ockult Örtmästare Games and Johan Nohr from Stockholm Kartell, and published by Free League Publishing.

PUTRESCENCE REGNANT is a MÖRK BORG bog crawl in LP vinyl format, yellow and black marbled. The gatefold cover doubles up as an impromptu GM screen with a map of Targ-Dungel, rules for traveling, capsizing and drowning, information about the roaming undead bog bodies and a random encounter table for each of the three distinct sections of the bog: The Royal Swamps, Killer’s Moor and The Rotlands.

Included in the record is also an 8-page insert full of content such as a map and description of the swamp hamlet Traurish, circa 20 minor locations as well as the three factions and their dwellings. Adding to this are creatures, swamp gas, foul smells and soggy death for hours upon hours of rotten gaming. The text will be written by Johan Nohr and Pelle Nilsson, and edited by Brian Yaksha of Rakehell fame. Before we call it a day, the relentless typo-hunters from MoonRat Conspiracy Jarrett Crader and Fiona Maeve Geist will dig into the text to ensure that no errors still lurk in the muck.

Treasures Of The Troll King: a MÖRK BORG Adventure is an RPG sewer-crawl adventure by Chris Bissette, with art by Johan Nohr. Galgenbeck is palimpsest. Tumour. A city built on the ruins of itself. Beneath the sewers the bones of the old city fester. The troll-king Niduk was exiled, driven into the depths to rot and die. Now twisted by hatred and rage he oversees the small domain he has carved for himself, in a forgotten chapel to a murdered god. Why are you here? A lost bet? A doomed quest for silver? Boredom? Does it even matter?

Unboxing everything from the 2020 Second Edition of Tsukuyumi: Full Moon Down by King Racoon Games. This version replaces the standess with plastic miniatures.
#tsukuyumi #kingracoongames #felixmertikat

Slowly but steadily, the Moon has been approaching the Earth. It has touched the surface and ripped a deep rift across continents, mountain ranges and oceans. It has come to a halt in the now dried-out Pacific Ocean. Chaos and devastation wrecked the Earth and its inhabitants. That chaos grew greater when the Moon revealed itself to be a “kami” (a Japanese God of old) – the white dragon TSUKUYUMI. Exiled into the night sky eons ago, TSUKUYUMI has been roused by Japanese warriors, who tried to rid themselves of their godly creators. TSUKUYUMI’S time for revenge has finally come…

We take a look at the Kickstarter deluxe version of Bristol 1350 by Facade Games. Designed by Travis and Holly Hancock with wonderful illustrations by Sarah Keele. The deluxe edition contains some upgrade metal components and an Alms expansion using six metal coins.

From the Kickstarter page:
“The dreaded Black Death has descended upon the town of Bristol. You are racing down the streets, desperate to escape into the safety of the countryside. If your cart is the first out of town you and your cart-mates win! Or do you? Some villagers on your cart may secretly already have the plague. If you leave town with a plagued villager on your cart, you will catch the plague and lose! What will you do to make sure that doesn’t happen? And who will you trust (or betray) along the way?”

Bristol 1350 is a social deduction and light strategy game for 1-9 players. Learn in 10 minutes and play in 20-40 minutes.

This game is part of the Dark Cities series:

We open up a real oddity in the history of the Mutant Chronicles, the 2007 Starter Set for the Collectible Miniatures game by Fantasy Flight Games licensed by Paradox Entertainment. It contains six 54mm pre-painted miniatures and supposedly everything you need to start playing. Rules were co-written by Eric M. Lang so it might be a playable game. The earliest sign of its short lifespan was the switch from blind box booster packs to just straightforward expansion boxes. It only lasted for about two years but is a very interesting attempt to take advantage of the fanbase that existed somewhere between boardgames and wargaming. Join us as we take look inside the box and try to piece together what created this short-lived oddity. In the midst of the Rackham pre-painted trend of AT-43 and Confrontation: Age of Ragnarok, this addition to the Mutant Chronicles series is a real head-scratcher.

Another Unboxing of Sovereign Skies by Deep Water Games. This is the Kickstarter edition that features several stretch goal enhancements like a chromium printed box, enhance wooden game pieces and two additional expansions included.

Long ago in a time of war, the six alien planets of the Abyssi cluster worked hard to find diplomacy and eventually came to form a fragile democracy. For humankind, the discovery of this cluster could mean abundant and cheap energy in the form of the earth-rare Atlum crystal. Now several human factions are racing in to grab a share.

In Sovereign Skies, you play one of the powerful houses of Old-Earth now orbiting the six planets of the Abyssi cluster to recruit alien senators for favors and to establish occupation by constructing and activating bases for energy and influence.

Each turn you’ll move your Mothership and perform 1 to 3 of the actions on a Planet to help you earn the Energy and Influence you’ll need to win the game. Add a Ship, collect a Politic card, and/or perform a Planet’s Special action.

The game features big strategic depth, worker-movement action selection rondel, a unique scoring mechanism for area control quick 45-minute playtime for a 4 player game and beautiful art and graphic design.

Unboxing and Flipthrough of the first issue of a new RPG series from 2000 AD and Judge Dredd publishers Rebellion. Each issue is a stand-alone game for up to seven players, from some of the most exciting RPG designers and artists in the industry.

Designed for ease of play for veterans and newbies alike, all you need to play is the magazine, some pencils and three six-sided dice.

The rules and format are designed around accessibility and ease of play for beginner and established players alike. First-time role players can read the four-page rule sheet, choose the most fun-sounding character, and get straight to playing.

One player is the Games Master, while the others control up to six Protagonists who will lead the story. The magazine has been carefully laid out for ease of GMing, keeping all of the important information at a glance. The rules are designed to keep the action flowing while giving the GM a clear structure to work with.

Every conflict roll is contested, so attacks and damage are decided in a single moment. All rolls are on three six-sided dice, so even with the odds against you, you’ll always have a fighting chance.
